“Surroundings” Solo Exhibition

Thursday, September 8 at 5 PM – 7 PM
Oklahoma Hall of Fame at the Gaylord-Pickens Museum

Join us for an Opening Reception for Christie Owen: Surroundings. Surroundings offers a diverse collection of abstract 2D and 3D works inspired by our everyday environments. The materials and compositions in this body of work perpetually change in relation to various time and Owen’s life experiences. This collection captures a journey of experimentation while seeking to convey balance and unity through forms and colors derived by industry and nature.

A native New Yorker, Christie Owen lives in Edmond, Oklahoma and divides her time as an artist and graphic designer. Her 2D and 3D works may be found in local and national museums, galleries, public venues, private collections, and retail locations.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information about this exhibition and Museum program offerings, email Marissa Raglin at mbr@oklahomahof.com
