This is a quadriptych (4 paintings). There are several underpaintings under the white layer. I kept working until I felt these works conveyed a primitive feel similar to baked earth or a cave wall. These paintings are sealed with a thick resin which protects the heavy texture and mixed mediums. They are finished with silver ash and walnut frames from Larson-Juhl.
The 4 piece set can be configured vertically, horizontally, in a grid, salon style… Have fun wrapping on a corner wall. The options on how to install & display this work is limitless.
