ARTIST STATEMENT
Searching for environmental and emotional tranquility, my art is a result of looking for visual solutions. It is a way to escape the technological realm, contemplate modern living, nature and communicate how each domain influences another. Working in a variety of mediums to offset impulsive tendencies and contrived notions a simultaneous harmony exists in my process involving upcycling materials, planning and producing sculpture or jewelry and painting without restraint. Searching for new combinations by infusing modern and organic themes, my work is crafted in a unified manner with respect to design regardless of medium. The art I create art fills a void with something beautiful, improves emotional and environmental disposition and evokes a sense of balance in the modern world.
